Sleek, glossy blonde hair after a keratin treatment in Küsnacht

Smoothing and care

Keratin treatment
in St. Gallen, Zürich
and Küsnacht

Less frizz, more shine – as smoothing or as pure care with keratin Botox.

A keratin treatment smooths the surface of the hair, tames frizz and adds shine. We offer two options: keratin smoothing for noticeably smoother hair, and keratin Botox, a pure care treatment without straightening. You can book both in all three salons at the same prices.

Before and after

Two keratin smoothing treatments by Sthephanie from our Küsnacht salon.

Long blonde hair before the keratin treatment: very frizzy, dry, broken ends
Before
The same client afterwards: sleek, glossy blonde hair, cut in layers
After

Blonde: before, very frizzy with broken ends – afterwards sleek, glossy and cut in layers.

Dark hair before the keratin treatment: frizzy, straggly and dry
Before
The same client afterwards: dark hair with soft, glossy waves
After

Dark: before, frizzy, straggly and dry – afterwards soft, glossy waves.

How it works

Keratin smoothing takes around 3 to 4 hours, depending on hair length and density. The keratin is carefully worked into the hair and sealed with heat. Afterwards the hair falls more smoothly, is less frizzy and easier to style. Finally we style it the way you want to wear it, sleek or in waves.

Who is a keratin treatment for?

Smoothing

Keratin smoothing

For frizzy, unruly hair that puffs up in humidity – and for anyone who wants to save time and effort on their daily blow-dry.

Care

Keratin Botox

For dry, stressed hair that needs more suppleness and shine without changing its natural shape.

Longevity and care

Keratin smoothing lasts up to 6 months. Exactly how long depends on your hair structure, how often you wash and your care at home. The effect gradually fades over time, and new growth is untreated.

  • Use a sulphate-free shampoo .
  • Heat protection before blow-drying and straightening.
  • Chlorine and salt water should be rinsed out where possible – both can shorten the effect.

Frequently asked questions

What is a keratin treatment?
In a keratin treatment, keratin – a natural building block of hair – is worked into the hair. The surface becomes smoother, the hair looks glossier and is easier to style. Depending on the treatment, it is also smoothed.
How much is a keratin treatment in St. Gallen?
The same guide prices apply in all three salons: keratin smoothing from CHF 450.– for short and from CHF 650.– for long hair, keratin Botox from CHF 55.–. The final price depends on hair length and density.
How long does a keratin treatment take and last?
A smoothing appointment takes around 3 to 4 hours. The result lasts up to 6 months, depending on hair structure, how often you wash and your care at home.
What is the difference between smoothing and keratin Botox?
Keratin smoothing makes hair noticeably smoother and tames frizz. Keratin Botox is a care treatment that makes hair suppler and gives it shine, but does not straighten it. It has nothing to do with Botox injections; the name is a hair-care term.
Will my hair always be straight afterwards?
After smoothing, the hair falls more smoothly and is less frizzy. Waves can still be styled, as the example with dark hair above shows. We are happy to discuss in the salon which result suits your hair.

Less frizz. More shine.
